Devan Ray Donaldson and Yuerong Hu of the Luddy School's internationally renowned Information and Library Science Department have received federally funded research awards totaling more than $1.1 million. 

Published papers following two years of rigorous research is a "well-earned outcome" for Luddy School Ph.D. students Nick Abegg, Ritika Gairola, Brian Pleasants Harper and Bryce Greene. 

The Luddy School and its Virtual World Heritage Lab, led by informatics professor Gabriele Guidi, is part of a four-partner consortium that has received a National Endowment for Humanities grant for 3D digitization of selected Revolutionary War artifacts. It ties into the U.S.' 250th anniversary.
