The scholarships listed below are for incoming, first-year undergraduate students. The Luddy School also offers scholarships for continuing undergraduate students.

The Shoemaker Scholars are a prestigious group of students from a variety of IU academic programs who encourage technology innovation and entrepreneurship. The scholarship program provides students with experiences that help them grow as technology innovators and entrepreneurs. It is worth $3,000 for each year a scholar is selected.

Preference or special consideration: For first-year Luddy students. Preference is given to students demonstrating or expressing interest in innovation and entrepreneurship. When all other qualities are equal, preference is given to Indiana residents and students with financial need.

Preference or special considerations: Student has demonstrated a strong history and commitment to community as determined by the Scholarship Committee. First preference will be given to students from Central Indiana and second preference will be given to students from any area of Indiana.

Eligibility:
For the scholarship to be renewable each year, you must remain in good academic standing and maintain a 3.2 GPA.
Special considerations: Apply for this and all IU and Luddy scholarships via the Indiana University Scholarship Application by February 15. Be sure to answer the extra question for the FIRST Robotics Scholarship in the academic portion of the scholarship application.

Eligibility: To be eligible to receive an invitation to apply for the Luddy Scholars Program, students must meet the following guidelines and provide all necessary documentation.
Special considerations: Eligible Indiana high school students who are incoming first-year Luddy students will be invited to apply to this competitive scholarship opportunity. Finalists may be invited to campus for an interview weekend during the spring semester.

Special opportunities:Our annual Luddy Seminar series will feature tech visionaries from strategic locations around the United States. Luddy Scholars will also be offered a variety of programs with faculty, alumni, and technology business leaders.
