Thursday, December 12, 1-3 p.m. EST
State-of-the-School (Virtual): An annual virtual event to hear from the Dean and school leadership about the year’s progress, challenges, and priorities.
Dean’s Alliance Social Event (In-Person): A gathering held annually, rotating between the Indianapolis and Bloomington campuses, to engage with other members and celebrate the school’s initiatives.
Engagement and Support
Members of the Dean’s Alliance are expected to actively engage with the School and its leadership, offering advice, guidance, and support when needed. This could include offering expertise, helping to connect the School with external networks, or providing insights on strategic initiatives. Members may be asked to serve on task forces, focus groups, or ad-hoc committees depending on interest and expertise.
Communication and Updates
Members will receive regular updates about the school’s strategic initiatives and activities. They are expected to stay informed and contribute to conversations and planning when appropriate.
Advocacy for the School
As influential alumni and supporters, members of the Dean’s Alliance are encouraged to act as ambassadors for the Luddy School, promoting its programs, initiatives, and accomplishments within their networks.
While there is no philanthropic requirement for membership, members will be notified in advance that they will receive solicitations for donations during their service. Participation in fundraising efforts is voluntary.
