Admission requirements

The Luddy graduate admission committees will consider students who have a three- or four-year bachelor's degree. Applicants should have a minimum of a 3.0 (B) or higher GPA.

Curriculum

The M.S. program blends advanced coursework in computational engineering and AI with hands-on experience in designing intelligent systems that collect, interpret, and act on data.

The M.S. program offers flexibility to shape your degree around your goals and interests through specialized tracks. Select from four paradigms, each offering a distinct path through the 30-credit-hour program:

  • Coursework: Complete all coursework to gain a strong foundation in the field.
  • Internship: Combine coursework with up to 6 credits of industry internships for hands-on experience.
  • Project:Pair coursework with a 6-credit capstone project, perfect for exploring a big idea.
  • Research:Focus on coursework and 6 to 9 credits of research, ideal for those considering a Ph.D.
